The coefficient of friction of the clutch friction plate should be large enough. The materials of friction plates generally include cork, nitrile rubber, asbestos rubber, paper, etc., and their friction coefficients are from large to small.
The spring of the clutch should have sufficient pressure. After the friction plate of the clutch is worn, its thickness becomes thinner, and if the pressure of the spring on the friction plate will become smaller, it is necessary to pay attention to replacing the friction plate. Be careful not to "half-clutch" frequently, so as not to wear the friction plates excessively.
The clutch grip of the motorcycle should have enough free travel. In general, the free stroke is 10-20mm (the amount of change at the outer end of the grip).
